05 Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where is Doppl available?
A: We're working to bring our tools to as many people as possible. This feature is currently available within the U.S. for users aged 18 years or older. To use it, download the app from Google Play Store or the App Store, log in to your Google account, and set up your user profile.
Q: I'm interested in trying this product but I'm not in the U.S. What can I do?
A: We're excited to hear about your interest, and we will be rolling out Doppl to more countries in the future.
Q: Is this the same as the recently-launched Google Shopping Try On?
A: The try it on feature on Google and Doppl both use our generative AI technology to help users understand how different outfits will look on them. Doppl is an experimental new app for shoppers to go even deeper with virtual styling, including the ability to try on outfits from personal photos and to create animated videos based on your favorite looks.
Q: I keep seeing mistakes. What should I do?
A: Doppl is an experiment, so generated images may include mistakes related to body shape, personal features, or clothing details. We continuously improve our systems and your feedback helps us understand where to focus. If you have comments or feedback about specific generated images, you can tap the "Give feedback" link at the bottom of the try-on screen.
Q: Can I share my try-on images/videos?
A: Yes! We encourage you to send your looks to your friends and family or post on social media - make sure to tag us @GoogleLabs on X or @Google on Instagram!
Q: I'm getting an error message and having trouble generating looks
A: We're sorry to hear that! We're working on making your experience as smooth as possible while being mindful of not generating unsafe content (see our policies here). If you encounter cases where you feel we've mistakenly blocked a generation please submit feedback with details — it's very helpful to help us improve.
Q. Will my generations contain a watermark?
A: Yes, but it's not visible. Doppl uses SynthID to embed invisible digital watermarks directly into all outputs.
Q: Is there a limit on generations?
A: Each user has a limited number of generations to use within Doppl a month, and generation limits are automatically refreshed at the beginning of each month. In times of high demand, we may also need to temporarily limit the number of requests to keep things running smoothly. If this happens, please try again later.
Q: Can I delete my history?
A: Absolutely. You can long-press to select and delete multiple images in your Looks tab on the bottom left, or individually delete looks and animations from the 3-dot menu.
